Frequently Asked Questions:
As a prospective patient, you may be browsing through several dental office websites to see which practice is the right fit for you and your family (as you should!). Listed below are some commonly asked questions that you may want to read over to get a better feel for our practice:
We are in-network with most major dental insurance companies. Some popular names include DeltaDental, Cigna, Aetna, Ameritas, Humana, MetLife, Principal, Guardian, and BlueCrossBlueShield. If you would like to confirm that we accept your insurance, please send us an email here
Most dental insurances only cover preventive dental treatment. In other words, your insurance will likely cover approximately two cleanings, one or two emergency exams, and a couple of cavity fillings per year. If you have not kept up with your dental care, there is a good chance you may need treatment that lies outside of your insurance. Our treatment coordinator will work with you closely to utilize your insurance the best we can to keep your out of pocket cost as low as possible without sacrificing your quality of care. Our office also has financing and payment plan options for any treatment that costs over $500.00.

Yes, however, you must first have a scheduled appointment with our office so that we may send you this information safely. You can request an appointment here.
Seeing the dentist may not be one of your favorite activities. We attempt to make your dental visits as pleasant as possible. The interior design and theme of our office should help you feel like you are in a dental home rather than a dental clinic. There are windows everywhere you look to allow for plenty of natural light. All of our treatment rooms are equipped with nitrous oxide/oxygen sedation which provides a safe and effective level of comfort for most patients. However, this can be supplemented with additional sedative medication if you so desire. The specifics of your dental needs can be discussed at a consultation appointment with our doctor.
Fountain Inn Dental is privately owned and operated by Dr. Jain, who is currently the only practicing dentist at this location. Dr. Jain is from Augusta, Georgia and has been practicing dentistry in Upstate South Carolina since 2015. Dr. Jain built Fountain Inn Dental from the ground up and launched the practice in 2017. Dr. Jain takes great pride in serving the patients of Fountain Inn and surrounding areas and plans to be the sole owner of the practice for many years to come (in other words, you are not going to an office where you might encounter a different dentist or team personnel every few months).
At this time, our appointment availability times range from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. As we continue to grow our small business, we hope to offer more early morning and evening appointment availability. We understand that it can be challenging to make it to the dentist if you are working full-time. Please reach out to us here if you need to be seen outside of normal business hours and we will do our best to accommodate your request!
Our office offers a wide range of dental services, including wisdom teeth extractions, implant treatment, root canal treatment, gum disease treatment, tooth-colored/metal-free fillings and crowns, and much much more. For a complete list of offered services, please click here.
We start seeing children in our office at the age of 5. However, we recommend you have your child seen with a pediatric dentist starting at age 1 and then to transition to a general dentist as your child continues to grow.
At this time, we prefer that you call ahead to make an appointment. If you are in need of urgent or emergency dental care, our team will make room in our schedule to get you seen (but still call ahead if you can!).
